Autumn is a beautiful season to visit High Point State Park!

Migration is underway, a gentle breeze stirs the changing leaves, and visitors flock to the mountain to enjoy the crisp autumn days. 

Come explore High Point State Park this fall. Bring your friends and family up for a day of fun and join us for our favorite event of the year...

Open Hearth, 2013

Join the Friends of High Point State Park for a demonstration of open hearth cooking on the Interpretive Center fireplace. Autumn is the season of bountiful harvests and the air will be filled with the aromas of pumpkin and apple. Enjoy a sample tasting of delectable soups, meats, and desserts all cooked fireside.

There are only two classes left on the 2014 season schedule. Don't miss out!

Friday, October 17, 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm
Saturday, November 8, 9:30 am - 10:45 am

Yoga on the Mountain classes are held in the High Point State Park Interpretive Center. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Walk-ins are welcome.  However, registration is suggested so that we may contact you in the event a class is cancelled.

A donation of $5 or more per class is recommended.
